A New Era of Unity and Prosperity for America

The presidential election yielded incredible results for the Republican Party. A clean sweep of the presidency, the Senate, the House, and a Republican-leaning Supreme Court will allow Donald J. Trump, our 47th president, to do the work that needs to be done over the next four years to protect our country and hopefully revitalize American prosperity and peace.

Over the last eight years, we Republicans have listened to the left call us nasty names and spread hateful propaganda—not only about Trump but also about his supporters. Finally, we have entered a new era where we can hopefully use these next four years to open people’s eyes to how Republicans truly think and feel.

We are not a party to be feared or threatened; we are a party that simply wants the best for America. We want a kind, free, and true America. We want a self-sustaining America.

This vision is only possible when we are economically self-sufficient, when we work together, when we stop hating one another, and when we find common ground. Why do Americans feel that we all need to be far left or far right? Is there no middle ground we can stand on? Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was that middle ground, but in a two-party system, the only option was Donald Trump. And guess who RFK Jr. sided with? Not the Democrats, with whom he had long-held political and historical ties, but he broke free and instead rallied behind Republicans in this election.

This is the party I want to be a part of—a party of reasonable, common-sense ideals and middle-of-the-road social concepts. I don’t consider myself far right, but the media did. I don’t consider myself an extremist or a right-wing supremacist, but the media and the left did. They have spent the last four years shoving hate in our faces, and they continue to do so even in the face of defeat.

Let them take a step back, calm themselves, hopefully open their minds, and let them experience the next four years as Republicans work to undo the damage done and reshape America into the country we love. And let them learn from this experience. Now is the time to make changes in America—not changes that are scary, but changes that are good. As Kamala always says, “Hard work is good work.” And this work starts with President Trump.
