You are ignorant. You are fascists. You are homophobes. You are racists. You deserve to die. You are killers.
But Americans who show pride in their country, aren’t any of these things. Americans are brave. Americans research. We study history. We are dedicated. We are patient. We are informed and educated. We are ready for the tasks at hand. We are truth-seekers. We are fighters. We are neighbors to one another. We are thankful to be Americans. And at the crossroads between freedom & oppression, we will persevere.

My mother always taught me the value of research and the importance of doing our due diligence before making a decision. When it came time to declare a political party for my driver’s license, I chose the Republican party with pride.
However, our society has stigmatized Republicans as uneducated and ignorant, propagating a narrative of a classless and ugly party. The media portrays us as misinformed and suppresses our opinions, making it challenging to change this predisposition.
However, I realized that we all have the power change this narrative. For me, it begins with creating a brand that exudes research, confidence, and classiness.
I wanted to create a line of well-designed, high-quality Republican t-shirts that portray our values of diligence, freedom, and our love for each American. By taking the initiative to create a brand that is inspired, educated, and sophisticated, we can help change the conversation about the Republican party. Let us rise above societal labels and show everyone that being Republican is not ignorant, but brave.
