Shielding Kids from Gender Ideology

Here’s your reminder to check and monitor all the content that your kids are consuming. It’s already a difficult task raising a child, and in today’s world, one has to be vigilant with what kids are watching.

I grew up on cartoons and Disney movies, but in today’s world, kids’ television is not what it used to be. Kids not only have to navigate their classes, learning how to read and write, math, and science, and also develop social skills with friends and teachers, they now are being bombarded with gender ideology on top of it. Growing up is a confusing and formative time for each child, and so it the job of parents now more than ever to have talks with their children to warn them about what they may be exposed to in school or on television.

When I was growing up, if there was ever something my mom was frightened about regarding my own safety or my personal principles, she would sit down and have talks with me to let me know how she was feeling, and what as a child I needed to look out for, she also would tell me that if I ever felt uncomfortable about something or someone to let her know so that she could help protect me from getting hurt.

As much as I don’t want kids to be exposed to this nonsense at all, it might be a discussion worth having that there are people out there who are trying to harm our kids. They are trying to shape and mold their minds into something that fits someone else’s goals and needs. And why do they need America’s kids so badly. Why do they wish upon conservatives that their kids be trans? It’s a sick game they’re playing, and I think it might be time for parents to warn their children about what is out there. It is better to be safe than sorry, and it is better to be over-prepared than under. These kids need guidance, and they should only be getting it from their parents. But in a world where gender ideology is attacking from all sides, perhaps we need to be more proactive about warning our kids about what is out there. As much as I wish we could keep their innocence for as long as possible, if you are not homeschooling and you are not monitoring a child’s internet access, then the world is waiting to push gender ideology onto your impressionable children’s minds.

I heard form the documentary by Robby and Landon Starbuck, “The War on Children,” that one of the ways gender ideology is pushed on children is through cartoons and movies. And not only that, but what happens is parents are familiar with the popular names of the cartoons they watched as children, Blues Clues, Arthur, Nickelodeon TV shows, Disney etc. And so because parents are accustomed to having watched these shows and movies as children, there is an automatic psychological bias that these sources of media are considered benign and safe for their own children to consume. However, this is how they gain parents’ trust and allow their children to watch shows without supervision.

I recommend watching shows before your children watch them to determine if they are safe for your child’s consumption or allow your children to watch the exact cartoon shows and seasons that you watched as a child. This is the only way to ensure that what they are watching is not drenched with gender ideology.

Let’s take a look at some examples of what is being distributed to children in the last few years. It is difficult to watch, but it is necessary in order to better prepare how to safeguard your child.

Ridley Scott – Netflix

This show features Netflix’s first non-binary character, a female bison named Fred. Fred informs another bison that the proper pronouns for Fred are they/them.

The Owl House – Disney

This show was canceled after Disney states the audience was too old for Disney’s target market. Hmmm, I wonder why?

Generation Drag

A show that highlights teens and tweens working to compete in the Dragutante show, at a nonprofit event specifically for LGBTQIA+ youth. It also follows the family of a transgender teen.

Muppets Babies

Gonzo goes to a ball dressed as a princess and then the other Muppet Babies apologize to Gonzorella for telling Gonzo what to wear to the ball earlier in the episode. They throw out the “old” royal handbook and replace it with a new one that allows everyone to go to the ball dressed however they like.

Blues Clues

The Pride Parade sing-a-long is a big one. Featuring non-binary animals, trans families, and also teaches a child what “chosen family” is. Ace, bi, and pan sexuals are also featured alongside more pride flags than I’ve ever seen at one time. Half of them I don’t even know what they represent. With the drag queen singer’s microphone featuring the stereotypical activist fist similar to the one from the BLM movement. One house has a family of kings and queens, not sure if that’s supposed to represent polyamorous households. Allies to queers are featured as the penultimate float for the blues clues pride parade. And finally, love is love is love you see. I don’t care what you tell me, this is too much for a child. It is actually difficult for me to get through the 3.5 minute song.

Paw Patrol

Rubble and Crew features a nonbinary character. Which most advocates are writing off as harmless.

But what is very difficult to gloss over is the fact that the creator of this episode is more terrifying than the episode itself. Lindz Amer, the creator of Queer Kids Stuff and Teddy’s Book Club, has some pretty scary videos on YouTube that are 100% targeted at a young audience.

Trigger warning: you will want to rip your hair out during this one. To the point where I might have to have an article dedicated only to this channel Queer Kid Stuff.
Here’s one of the videos

Cocomelon Lane – Netflix

Features a boy trying on a tutu and tiara while the two dads sing him a song that’s called “Just Be You.”

@brave_books "The new CoComelon Lane on Netflix has a boy in a dress dance for his 2 gay dads CoComelon is the most popular show for babies and toddlers ages 2+" -@endwokenessofficial ♬ original sound – Brave_Books

Jurassic Park Camp Cretaceous season 5

This show features two lesbian characters and their relationship. I don’t have a problem with adult lesbians. I just feel that this is a bit mature for a PG rating.

Pinky Malinky

Features three dads in a polyamorous relationship.

Danger and Eggs

Features “Happy Pride’ and the episode is called Chosen Family.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzp_XM7Ay5QThis is just a portion of the examples of the gender agenda being injected into children’s shows. I find myself to be tolerant of the LGB community and the work that many are doing to prevent transitioning of kids. However, I believe that these shows above are being tailored to a very young audience. Why is there this need to expose young children to sexuality at such young ages. And it should be on the parents to decide when and how their kids learn about sex and sexuality. Now parents have to monitor children’s cartoons in a way that they never have before. And don’t rush to call this homophobic or transphobic because there are members of the LGB who would not show this type of material to their own kids. Let’s keep our kids innocent and free from the topics of sex until it’s right for each child and their parent to have that discussion together. Stop rushing kids to be more mature than they are. Your ideology is showing!
