Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz rosemary simple syrup (recipe below)
- Dash of peach bitters
- Grapefruit twist, for garnish
- Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Rosemary Simple-Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Handful of fresh rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- To make the rosemary simple syrup, combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the rosemary sprigs and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup steep for an additional 20 minutes. Strain and let cool.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Pour in the bourbon, grapefruit juice, and rosemary simple syrup.
- Add a dash of peach bitters.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into a glass filled with ice.
