For years, mainstream media and political elites have been on a mission to label Trump supporters as “insurrectionists” and “threats to democracy.” They’ve painted a picture of us as if we’re hell-bent on tearing down the principles of this great nation. But now, when faced with the very real possibility of a Trump victory in the upcoming election, the tables have turned, and their hypocrisy is on full display.
Take a look at the latest statements from Democratic officials. Many of them are openly discussing the idea of not validating the election if Trump wins. Think about that for a second. They’ve spent years accusing us of undermining the democratic process, only to turn around and suggest doing the same thing themselves. If the American people dare to vote for Trump again, their strategy is not to accept the people’s will, but rather to discredit and invalidate the results.
The Real Threat to Democracy
When Democrats like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz openly say they want to abolish the Electoral College, it’s not just a policy preference—they are signaling a desire to rewrite the rules to benefit their own agenda. The Electoral College was established to ensure that every state has a voice in our republic, to protect the interests of both the most populated cities and the smallest towns. It balances power and prevents the domination of our political landscape by a few urban strongholds.
But now, Walz wants to throw that protection out the window. He wants to tilt the playing field to favor big blue states, leaving rural Americans and heartland voters in the dust. They don’t want a fair election; they want an election that guarantees their win, regardless of what the voters actually want. The irony is astounding: they call us “election deniers” while openly plotting to deny the outcome of the next election if they don’t get their way.
When It’s Convenient for Them, They Cry ‘Insurrection!’
Remember how they attacked us after 2020? We were labeled as the bad guys for questioning irregularities and discrepancies. We were treated like criminals for exercising our right to call for transparency and accountability in the electoral process. They used the term “insurrectionists” as a weapon to silence our voices and paint us as enemies of the state.
But now, they’re the ones saying they might not validate the election results if Trump wins in 2024. How is that not an attempt to undermine our democracy? How is that not the very definition of an insurrection against the people’s will?
The Ultimate Hypocrisy
It’s clear they only care about the rules when they benefit them. They demonize us for daring to demand fair elections while plotting to upend the system if the results don’t go their way. And they still have the audacity to claim they are the defenders of democracy. This is not just hypocrisy; it’s a direct attack on the principles that this country was founded on.
The reality is that they fear Trump because he represents a movement that’s bigger than any one man. He stands for the millions of Americans who have been forgotten, belittled, and dismissed by the political elite. He represents the working class, the heartland, the patriots who refuse to be silenced. And that is why they are so desperate to destroy him and to undermine the very foundation of our electoral system.
Stand Strong, America
Now more than ever, it’s crucial that we stand united against these attacks on our democracy. We must make our voices heard louder than ever before. Trump supporters aren’t insurrectionists; we are the defenders of liberty, the champions of fair elections, and the torchbearers of American values.
The left can call us whatever they want, but they cannot change the fact that we stand for the Constitution, the Electoral College, and the American people’s right to choose their leader. We won’t let them take that away just because they fear a Trump victory. If they’re the ones threatening not to validate the results of a fair election, then maybe it’s time for the rest of America to ask: who are the real insurrectionists?
