Despite the widespread devastation, the Biden-Harris administration waited three days before issuing any statement. This, while billions of dollars are being funneled to Ukraine, leaves many Americans wondering where the priority truly lies.
Meanwhile, President Trump is set to visit Valdosta, Georgia, bringing much-needed relief supplies and addressing the media about the dire situation faced by so many families. With the election fast approaching, it’s a stark reminder of the kind of leadership we need—a leader who is present and responsive in times of crisis.
For weeks, Kamala Harris has positioned herself as the champion of the middle class, the candidate who will save our country. But when disaster strikes at home, her absence speaks volumes. Ninety lives lost and countless families left in despair, yet no words of comfort or support from her.
How can we trust Harris to protect and serve our citizens when she can’t even acknowledge their suffering? Actions speak louder than words, and all we’ve seen from Harris is talk. In contrast, Trump is on the ground, actively working to help those affected.
In this election, the choice is clear: one candidate can’t even address the wreckage from a natural disaster, while the other is making an effort to be there for the American people. If Kamala Harris can’t handle a domestic crisis, how can we expect her to navigate the complexities of foreign affairs?
